While there are goofups and inconsistencies in the censuses, they're a HUGE repository of great info. Having them available online and perusable from home makes it easy to spend more time and discover some of the little things that bring all those dead relatives to life. I found families of their future spouses living near some of my ancestors--gives some insight into how they all met. Also found out that my very austere and forbidding grandma was known as Josie when she was a little girl.

Yep, Tuesday was a good day. I spent from 10:30am to 3pm in a library going through microfilm for obits and wedding articles. Trying to construct my son-in-law's family tree. This was my second stint there and there are probably at least a couple more in my future. I get hooked on research and can't stop. Help!!! LOL

Enjoy both your blogs.
