Yay, glad to hear it worked out. I was just about to ask you about details of the surgery, considering I think we both are mostly mouth breathers with somewhat functional nasal passages. I suspect a similar procedure is someday off in my future.

Hmm…we don’t have cable here either, so no public access channel. We used to have cable, but the equipment got old and the company didn’t maintain it so eventually people started getting satellites and the cable company left. Of course their wiring is still underground and some of the posts are still visible, but quite a few people have ripped them out and threw them away. In the end, TV programming is so pathetic I really don’t know why we even pay for satellite. So the DHs can watch their hunting, fishing and sports shows, I guess.

Ha. It was a few years ago and they had left it in the hallway on a table for whatever reason and some kid walked off with it. I assume they’d do the same thing if they’d left a Christmas tree out in the hallway. Never did find out who took it.

The book series is amazing. I haven’t seen the HBO version, but I can recommend the books without reservation. A lot of things happen that the reader does NOT expect, which I consider an excellent sign for a series.
